Mission Statement
The African
PHA Foundation mission is to engage in conservation of
the habitat, enhancement of the flora, the fauna, and
the human habitat in a manner that reinforces the value
of hunting and wildlife to the local population of
Africa. The African PHA Foundation supports projects
that utilize the unique abilities, experience, and
geographical location of members of the African
Professional Hunters Association.
CHARITABLE PURPOSE
The African PHA
Foundation has been approved as a 501(c)3 public charity
by a Letter of Determination from the U.S.
Internal Revenue Service. The Foundation is a nonprofit
corporation established by the African Professional
Hunters Association to engage in conservation of the
habitat and to help fight against the diseases endemic
to Africa.
The Foundation is
qualified to receive U.S. tax deductible contributions,
gifts, and bequests. Support is solicited from all
interested individuals, private or family foundations, and corporations.
CONSERVATION
The Foundation is
accepting proposals, related to the habitat, that meet
our goals and criteria of improving those that are
critical to the people and the animals of Africa. The
projects may address habitat preservation,
anti-poaching, species protection, and the well being of
the peoples of Africa. The Foundation is particularly
interested in funding and assisting those projects that
may utilize the unique abilities, experience, and
geographical location of members of the African
Professional Hunters Association. These assets
include years of field experience in remote areas of
Africa, assets that are not readily available elsewhere.
PRIVACY
The Foundation only
collects names of people who have indicated an interest
in supporting our charitable purposes and for Members
and their guests to attend organization events.
