Michael Angelides is both a third generation Professional Hunter and a Tanzanian. Son of long time PH and outfitter George Angelides, Mike grew up in and around the hunting industry from the bush to conventions, He apprenticed under and learned from Gerard Miller, Nicky Blunt and, of course his Dad. Although he was fully licensed in 1991, Mike did not hunt dangerous game until 1993 (as per his father's stipulation).

Mike lives in Arusha with his wife and son, and hunts under Tanzania Big Game Safaris, with TBGS. Mike is also lucky enough to still-hunt in some of the areas he grew up and apprenticed in.

In 2004 Mike was honored with the APHA Big Six Award and currently sits on the Tanzania Professional Hunters Associations Executive Committee as Secretary General. While the Tanzanian hunting season is closed, Mike guides Photographic safaris and operates a Sports Bar.
