In 1929 a steamship docked in Mombasa on the East African coast. On board were Gordie's grandparents who eventually settled on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. Thus began three generations of wanderlust and adventure. 

Gordie was born in 1969 in Nairobi into a childhood of safaris. After obtaining an Honours Degree in Wildlife Management in England he began his three year apprenticeship with Robin Hurt Safaris under the guidance of the finest hunters in Africa. Fully licensed in Tanzania in 1995 as a professional hunter, Gordie is committed to the highest levels of ethical hunting and fair chase. 

The hunt focuses on adventure, stalking and the utmost respect for the wildlife and appreciation of nature. When Gordie is not hunting, he outfits and guides the most spectacular horseback and wildlife safaris in Kenya.
